CPR-Hand Placement
When performing CPR it is very important for your hands to be placed correctly. The heel of your first hand should be placed in the center of the chest along the sternum (or breast bone) in-between the nipples. Your other hand needs to be placed directly on top of your first hand and your fingers should be laced together. Position your shoulders directly over your hands, keeping your arms straight and your fingers up off the chest. If you follow these steps your hand placement will be perfect.
Getting your CPR certifications is so important, it could save someones life. Here at Cooksey's Lifeguard we can certify you in CPR through Red Cross. Whether you just need your basic CPR certifications or the professional certification, we've got you.
